I really like this article. It talks about being mindful. I don't think many people even remember what mindfulness is anymore. Yes it is being in the present, but it is also being conscious of your surroundings. There is a difference between daydreaming and sitting in a room versus sitting in a room and taking note of the smells, the noises, your physical feelings. Maybe the way your feet touch the ground or how your arms are crossed. Or how your breathe rises and sinks, slowly. There are so many ways to take notice of the present how can you not just be here now? And then there's thoughts. A trap we can't help falling in to. Our society is thought-based. From the moment we enter school, it is all about using our minds for memorization and comprehension and analysis. All things that require you to think back so that you aren't actually here. Anyways, I will probably just do a post on this subject, but in the mean time enjoy someone else's words!
These are just for fun as YOU are the only person who can determine your inner state, but I thought they were interesting surveys, nonetheless. If you are bored check out this one and this other one. What do you think? Did you learn anything enlightening about yourself?!
