- 1lb grass-fed ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped as finely as you can
-1 tbsp oregano
-4 garlic cloves, minced
-1/2 cup of Greek ouzo (this makes it!)
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tbsp olive oil
-sea salt and pepper to taste (about 2 tsp each for me)
- Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl together, mushing it all until fairly well mixed into the meat. Then form small meatballs with your hands probably about 10-15 with this amount of meat. Now there are two ways to cook. Either you can preheat the oven to 450 degrees F and cook for about 15 min or until brown on both sides. Or, you can cook in coconut oil in a pan until brown on both sides. Both taste the same, but if you don't want a hot house from the oven on a summer day, I'd suggest cooking in a pan.
Eat up and enjoy!
